Our history
Kang Soyeon founded Hazel Way Analytics in 2016 after eight years coordinating dispatch operations for a regional cold-chain distributor in Gyeonggi-do. Repeated schedule overruns on paper-efficient routes convinced her that distribution networks needed field-based timing analysis separate from internal dispatch teams.
The first engagements were corridor studies for two Incheon-area food distributors who shared dock-capacity problems along the same retail corridor. Word spread through logistics manager networks in the metropolitan area. By 2019, the firm had completed reviews for networks spanning six provinces.
Today the team operates from the office at Kang Soyeon, 14 Nuri-gil, Bupyeong-gu, Incheon 21300, REP. OF KOREA, serving distribution managers, fleet coordinators, and regional directors who need annotated route charts and written findings they can present to leadership without additional interpretation.
How we work
We do not sell software subscriptions or install tracking systems. Every engagement involves analysts on your routes and at your depots, capturing stop times, handoff windows, and delay points. Findings appear in printed chart packets and written reports designed for operations meetings—not technical dashboards.
Our approach respects driver schedules and store receiving hours. We coordinate observation days with your dispatch lead and avoid disrupting active delivery windows beyond riding along as passengers.

Kang Soyeon
Former dispatch coordinator with eight years in cold-chain distribution. Leads flagship audits and executive briefings. Based at the Incheon office.
Min-jun Park
Specializes in depot-to-depot handoff reviews and transfer window charting. Joined the firm in 2018 after managing loading operations at a Changwon regional hub.
Hae-won Lee
Prepares written findings reports and chart packets. Ensures dispatch log formatting requirements are communicated clearly to clients before field work begins.
Values we hold in client work
We present findings as observed, including mild reservations where data coverage was incomplete. We do not inflate delay figures to justify larger engagements. When a corridor performs within acceptable variance, we say so—and suggest where attention might yield greater return elsewhere in the network.
Client dispatch records remain confidential. We do not reference client names in public writing without written permission. Field Notes articles use anonymized or composite scenarios drawn from multiple engagements.
